Welcome back!

Welcome back to Ubizane Wildlife Reserves' Blog...
There has been so much happening here on the reserve, from christmas to new years, to compotitions and the final finishing touches of our refurb we appologise for the absence of posting.

Well 2012 kicked of brilliantly at ubizane, with an amazing new years dinner, followed by a champange, new years day, breakfast- Our guests sure were luky! Evan our vervet monkeys couldn't get enough off it.

But now with every new year the is always a new years resolution. Ours for 2012 and for as long as the animals roam over Ubizane is to give each and every guest the best and greatest experience Ubizane and its staff can offer!

You can always come and stay and see if we are keeping to our word- you surely wont be dissapointed with us.

With new seasons comes a whole new lifestyle- not only for us humans but for all the animals, creatures and critters we have on the reserve. Our impalas have officially taken over, with mums and their babies to  dad teaching there sons how to be "Alpha". Not one plain of grass has not been visited by these delightful antelope.

However the most majestic beauty hidden within the Ubizane Reserve is the gaze of the midnight blue sky hovering above the hectares of forestry with only the moon and the bright stars guiding the wildlife into sweet slumber. One cannot resist lazing on the verander at Safari Lodge watching day fall gracefully into night, listening to the birds far in the bush, tasting the temptatious nougat busicuts and of course sipping on an ice cold beverage of your choice.

Can life get any better? I really doubt it!

With all this beauty umong your visit one can really feel the true african spirit in everything, seen, touched and tasted.

Ubizane would also like to with Don payton a very happy 80th birthday, we truly hope you enjoy celebrating it here at Ubizane with your family and friends. We trust that you will have a very celebratory bush dinner tommorrow night!

Finally last but not least congrats to Warren Soule for winning our blog quizz prize! yourself and your family have won a 2 nights' stay at Zululand Safari Lodge! We look forward to hosting you!
