Now as we've been hidden in the veld for all these years, please forgive us for not being 100% "with it".
well today has been a rather quite one, no screams from staff 'cause they've come across an "Mfezi" (Mozambique spitting cobra), little sight of Casper(our game ranger) too tell us what he:s seen in the park and luckily non of our guests have had there high tea stolen by the tricky, sneaky and sly little vervet monkeys that stake out any meal time at Ubizane.
So i guess I'll inform you about the past week's shenanigans...
Casper was lucky to see 8 lions on a hluhluwe game drive earlier this week, but then his luck nearly ran out when an elephant nearly decided that the bonnet to his Buckie is the perfect place to have a sit down.
He was so amazed by the elephants choice of seating, before shooing it away he managed to grab a pic for all to see... lets just say that the picture is not the most pleasant.
Also, Tiban (our rescued wort hog) has started to learn all about guest relations and etiquette, for example...
to not pee on a guest,
to not bite a guest and most importantly,
how not to be a total pig and eat everything and anything in sight!
well that's all with the new news for today..
will be in touch shortly..
Take care,
The Ubizane Team
Our handsome Tiban
aaaaaaa he is so special to us. Cant wait to visit and see how he has grown.
